UCDAP was formed in 2016 to fix two problems no single dealership could fix alone: you could not tell who you were trading with, and paperwork took months. Everything the association does still comes back to those two.

Mandate
An association is a set of promises members make to each other.
A verified trade circle
Every member is checked before they join - the premises, the trade record, and a reference from two existing members. When you deal inside UCDAP, you know who is on the other side of the table.
Stock that moves
Members list stock to members first. A car sitting on your floor in Kothrud can be sold from Hadapsar the same week, at a price both sides can defend.
Paperwork, sorted
RTO transfers, NOCs, hypothecation, insurance - handled by people who file them every day. Fewer trips to the RTO, fewer files stuck for months.
One voice for the trade
Two hundred dealers asking together is a different conversation than one dealer asking alone - with the RTO, with banks, with the municipal corporation.
How it grew
Nine years, one ledger at a time.
Nothing here happened quickly. Each step was a member problem that enough people brought to the same meeting.

Fourteen dealers, one room
A handful of Pune dealers met above a workshop on Sassoon Road to fix what nobody could fix alone: unverifiable stock and endless RTO files.

The RTO desk opens
A dedicated transfer desk begins clearing member paperwork in batches, cutting weeks off the average transfer.

Holding the line
Through the lockdown years the association ran relief drives for showroom staff and kept a shared stock list alive over WhatsApp.

The first UCDAP Premier League
Sixteen dealer teams, one ground, a season that has run every year since.

Two hundred members
Membership crosses two hundred dealerships across forty-plus Pune localities.

The stock board, member directory, and paperwork tracker move into a single app built for the phone in a dealer's pocket.
How it is run
Elected, unpaid, and answerable to the register.
Members elect a managing committee every two years. The committee meets monthly, keeps written minutes, and places the annual statement of accounts before the general body.
Standing rules
- One dealership, one vote, regardless of size.
- Members trade with members on written terms.
- Disputes go to the redressal panel before they go anywhere else.
- No committee member draws a salary from the association.
- Accounts are audited and read out annually.

Who can join UCDAP?
Any used car dealership trading in Pune or PCMC. Send the form on the contact page or message the office on WhatsApp, and someone will call you back.
Is the stock board open to the public?
No. The stock board is member-to-member. Buyers deal with member dealerships directly, at the dealership.
Does UCDAP sell cars?
No. The association does not buy, sell, or broker vehicles. It represents and supports the dealerships that do.
What does the RTO desk cover?
Ownership transfers, NOCs, hypothecation entries and removals, and duplicate documents for member transactions.
Can staff play in the league?
Yes - and they must. Every team has to field at least four staff members from the member firm.
